Goobie, Frederick Vincent (Major Retired)
Peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick, on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Fred Goobie of Sutton, beloved husband of Betty (nee George). Dear father of Vincent and his wife Lee of Sutton and Elizabeth Roberts and her husband Alan of Florida. Loving grandfather of Julie, Michael (Liz), Vincent Jr (Eryn) and Steven (Dez). Lovingly remembered by the families of his brothers and sisters, his many friends and especially his Salvation Army family. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be held in the Salvation Army, Georgina Community Church, 1816 Metro Road, Jackson's Point, Wednesday, November 25th at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army, Georgina Community Church, would be appreciated by the family.
