Smockum, Kenneth Horace (former councillor of the Town of Georgina) On Tuesday, July 28, 2015, Ken passed away peacefully at home in Sutton surrounded by family in his 96th year. Ken Smockum, loving husband of Norma (nee Stevenson) for almost 70 years. Proud father of Karen Debnam (Dale), Brian (Elaine), Brad (Cathy), Steve (Debbie), Gwen Boniface (Garry), Keith (Darla), Janice McCord (Jim), and Edi Smockum (David). Adored Grandpa Kenny of 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Elda Watts (Bob), and predeceased by his brother Clarence. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m., Monday. Funeral Service in the Egypt Hall, 6756 Smith Blvd., Georgina, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Visitation in the hall from 1:00 p.m. Interment, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton. Memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family Memorial condolences may be made at www.forrestandtaylor.com.
