We only knew Annie for a short time & one night she took us into the garage & showed us her car named Buttercup. I told her how envious I was that she owned it. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss…our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. I have many happy memories of Anne, as so many people do. She was my teacher and friend. What an incredible woman, Truly amazing and she touched everyone she met. A few years back I ran into her at contents unlimited store and she told me of her battle with cancer and my heart sank but I knew she had it in her to give it the best fight possible and she did! That day, we had a great lengthy talk and then had to go on our ways. She left the store and I saw an lovely angel that reminded me of her. I quickly bought it and ran out to the parking lot and gave it to her. I told her, it was to watch over her and care for her, as she is an earthy angel and been so kind to so many. Anne sincerely loved the angel and gave me the best hug and promised to keep it with her. Anne was truly genuine, kind, caring, smart, funny, real, angelic, hard working, dedicated and the list goes on & on, as will our many precious memories of her <3 She will be greatly missed! God Bless...

My deepest sympathy to Bob and John and their families. I have admired Anne's cheerful nature since High School days at Sutton. When I last spoke with her over the Christmas season she still sounded happy. Yet realistically, she commented that "we all die sometime". She was a brave and wonderful person and she will be missed.

Dear Bob and John and families,
I am terribly saddened to hear of Anne's passing. Anne and I went all through high school and Victoria College at U of T together. We started our teaching careers at Sutton DHS. Over the years, 5 or 6 of us have been reunited at each others' homes to keep in touch.
12 years ago, Lew and I moved to the Niagara Region and have not contacted with the gang in the North.
I am very sorry that I will not be able to attend the celebration as I have been fighting cancer for the last year and a half. I have an operation on July 13 to remove the last bit.
My thoughts are with you. Anne was a wonderful person.

You were a teacher, a mentor to so many! As your "special" neice i was so lucky that you and Uncle Bobby coached me in my start in real estate......my dad called me the morning after you passed.....i cried so hard.....I had a listing presentation....i heard your voice in the car...well heather just go get it done....I nailed the listing!
