Hastings, L. Rosslyn Peacefully at her home in Keswick, on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in her 90th year. Rosslyn Hastings (nee Wiltshire), formerly of Pefferlaw, beloved wife of 55 years to John C. Hastings. Dear mother of Trudy Mason McCreadie and her husband James of Dearborn, Michigan, James Mason and his wife Joeanne of Dowling, ON, Ian Hastings and his wife Denise of Atlanta, Georgia, and Cameron Hastings and his wife Janit of Toronto. Loving Nana of Ashley (Clayton), James Robert (Melissa), Mallory (Spencer), Alexis (Keifer), Daniel, Noah and Great Nana of James, Grayce, Elena, Madilynn, Peyton and Blake. Predeceased by her sister Laureen Winterton. Sister in law of Vernon Winterton. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and her many special friends. A Celebration of Rosslyn’s life will be held at the Georgina Art Gallery, 149 High Street, Sutton on the Saturday, May 9th of Mother’s Day weekend, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. with remembrances at 2:00 p.m.. Rosslyn’s art creations will be displayed and you are encouraged to bring any of her art with you. Memorial donations to the York Region Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
