Our deepest sympathy to you and your family, Trudy. Feeling the loss of a Mother is like losing a piece of your heart, so you have to fill it with memories so it stays with you forever. There are times you will automatically reach for the phone to tell her something exciting and there are times you wish you good hug her one more time. She knows all of this, so be at peace that she is still with you and you will hear her voice. It happens to me even though it's been 4 years since my Mom went to heaven. I hear her laughter in things I say, I hear her telling me her favorite stories whenever I complained about my life. You are a very special lady, and she was so proud of you and will be there when you just need to talk. God bless you and keep her close to you.
