Frederick Philip
July 10, 1944 – April 29, 2023
Fred passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, with his wife of 53 years, Barbara (nee Disher), by his side. After teaching and coaching, Fred retired to Sutton by the Lake where he enjoyed golfing and participating in activities. Fred will be missed by his nephew and nieces, friends, and neighbours. Thank you to Rick, Sean, Audrey and Doreen for the many phone calls. Thank you to the nurses and PSW’s who took care of Fred at Southlake Village. There will be a funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 20916 Dalton Road, Sutton, Wednesday, May 3rd at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in Briar Hill Cemetery. Arrangements in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, 905-722-3274. In memory of Fred, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
