Fred,
My Uncle, my Godfather, my friend.
I remember countless nights of staying up late with you to watch your Montreal Canadiens or Toronto Raptors play. You are the reason I am such a huge sports enthusiast to this day.
I also remember golfing with you at quite a young age, and can gladly thank you for the love I have for the game today.
There are many memories of coming for sleepovers at yours and Auntie Barb's place. Whether it was playing pinball or pool in the basement or watching Naked Gun and old Rock'em Sock'em videos. These are all memories I will carry with me forever.
You will be missed, but always held close to my heart.
Tavis

Lois and I have many memories of Fred from the time we met in 1975. You and Fred had moved from Quebec and we had moved from Northwestern Ontario. The four of us were hired to teach in the Toronto area. We seemed so young. Little did we know that our friendship would develop into a family. Throughout the years, as a family, we created many memories. There are so many memories . You and Fred became uncle and aunt to our children. You and Fred became our our son's godparents. Our children looked forward to spending time and special occasions with their Uncle Fred and Auntie Barb. As we all taught, we had many lively conversations around the subject of education. These are just a few of our memories of Fred. There are so many more.

Dear Barb,
My prayers to you Barb. I truly enjoyed the visits with you and Fred, along with my mom, and the many years of teaching in Orangeville with you both. Fred loved to coach the sports and meet up after school for 'Sports' meetings. He sure loved it all. God Bless and take good care Barb.
Sincerely,
Patti Weir
