Obituary of John Tory Jones

Jones, John Tory Peacefully surrounded by his family at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Friday, February 3, 2023, one day after his 77th birthday. John Jones of Roches Point beloved husband of Judy Jones (nee Genge). Much loved father of Tori (Rob), Douglas (Cheri) Steven (Andrea) and Sara (Dave). Adored grampie of Steven, Jessica, Jamie, Jonathan, Julie, Matthew, Ryan, Andrew, Michael, Arianna and Jacob. Dear brother of Doug (Wendy), Gail Carlson ( the late Doug ) and Torianne Altilia (Greg). Loving uncle of many nieces, nephews, and their families. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends, especially his friends in Balfour Beach. John loved his family very much and his family loved him too. John had the best sense of humour. His favourite saying was " don't give a rats ass". The family would like to thank the first responders as well as the doctors and nurses at Southlake. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate Memorial Donations to the Heart & stroke or Diabetes.
