In my young life, Doreen was one of the "church ladies" that always made time for me. She took an interest in what I was doing and usually was pleasant, quiet and happy. Later in my teaching days it was fun to teach her grandchildren and reconnect with Gary. Small world. Treasure the memories of a fine lady.

Doreen was one of the kindest, compassionate women we had the pleasure of knowing. She truly loved her family and was a great and loyal friend, especially to our mother, Mildred Taylor. In spite of her many obligations at her farm, she always found time to visit or call. Doreen will be fondly remembered for her friendly smile and her giving heart.
