Peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto, on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the age of 82 years. George Nelson of Scarborough, beloved husband of Rose (nee Mills). Dear father of Onha Rivers and her husband Tanny, Terri Nelson, Valda Nelson, Douglas Nelson and his wife Nicole, Gaynel McLean and Andreen Nelson. Loving Granddad of Simone, Sidjae, Danielle (Danny), Shantel (Keegan), Dion (Taylor), Douglas (Alivia), Deseree, Kayla (Barry), Neil and Dylan. Great Granddad of eleven. Dear brother of Vash, Olga, Ruby, Una, Sonya, Roy, Vin and the late Hilma. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Funeral service in the Scarborough Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4350 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, Monday, January 10, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation in the church from 11:00 a.m. Interment, Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
