Obituary of James David Burford

Burford, James David (retired, City of Toronto, Water Works) It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Burford suddenly at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the age of 65 years after a short battle with cancer. Jim lived life to the fullest, enjoying boating, fishing, golfing, ATV’ing and travelling. His biggest passion was his family. Beloved husband of 40 years to Patricia Burford (nee Humpage). Loving father of David Burford (Ashley) and Alison Burford. Cherished papa of Lilly and Easton Jensen and Tyson and Mason Burford. Dear son of Dorothy Burford and the late Cecil Burford. Loving brother of Edward Burford (Kaylynne), Robert Burford (Barbara) and Brenda Fazekas (Paul). Fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
