Peacefully at his home in Sutton, on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 95 years, with family by his side.  Alcide Babineau beloved husband of the late Anita Babineau (nee Bastarache). Dear father of Lynda Christie and her husband Lorne of Sutton, Norma Babineau of Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Roger Babineau and his wife Cathy Switalski of Pefferlaw and Joanne Garcia and her husband Dan of Toronto.  Precious Papa of Samuel, Matthew, Katie, Alexandra (Danilo) and Jessie and Great Papa of Alexis, Xander and Farryn.  Lovingly remembered by his brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.  Visitation at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 2 – 4 Saturday, February 9, 2019.  Memorial Mass in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 28118 Highway 48, Virginia, Ontario, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with quite meditation in the church from 10:00 a.m. . Spring interment of cremated remains Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.  Memorial Donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, Stronach Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
