Peacefully in the presence of family on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, Shirley Kennedy (née Brooks), beloved wife of the late John Kennedy. Dear mother of Lynda Van Sickle and her husband Don of Calmar, Alberta, Glen of Val Gagné, Murray and his wife Colleen of Minden, Elaine of Montreal and Mary Ellen Mitchell and her husband Bill of Iron Bridge. Predeceased by her son Andrew. Loving grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 13. Visitation at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, on Monday, May 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to Virginia United Church, 28280 Highway 48, Sutton, Ontario, L0E 1R0 or the Alzheimer Society, 2-240 Edward Street, Aurora, Ontario, L4G 3S9 would be appreciated.
