Karyn was referred to me by a neighbour to help me gain mobility after a debilitating accident a few years ago. She was helpful, knowledgeable, patient and strong. I'm very sorry to hear that she's gone. My sincere condolences to her family.

I just found out about Karyn, so, so, sad, my condolences. I think of Karyn fondly because she stood out. She was so nice and yes, the way she was described, her smile, so kind and warm. I worked with her years ago at the Golden Apple where she waitresses and I was a coffee girl. I haven't seen her in years but wanted to share my life experience with her, always nice and happy and smiling. And the boys in town really liked her too :) Beautiful inside and out indeed. God bless her.

Carl, Sydney and Sam - it has taken me three weeks to write this because words can't describe how heart broken I am for you on the loss of Karyn. She was an amazing woman, wife, mother and friend who is missed every day. She was a beautiful friend with a beautiful smile who was inspiring with her passion for life and who was so much fun to be with. She was inspiring to all that knew her and for me I will never forget her strength and positivity during her fight the last 10 months. She was always positive, never complained and fought as hard as she could. She is a role model for all of us in terms of living our life to the fullest and I feel very privileged to have been her friend over the last 13 years. I love all of you and think about you and Karyn every day.
