Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. It's hard to lose a loved one at anytime, however Lorrie was wise enough to know she did not want to put her family and friends through a long process with her illness. She will now be again with Leo. All my love Aunt Betty

My sincerest condolences to all the family of Lorraine.
I write on the slim chance that your Lorraine may be the same Lorraine I went to school with in my primary years.
She was a very attractive young girl (very shy) her family was living for a short time in Malton near the airport.
We travelled the local bus together to arrive at Our Lady of the Airways school.
At the time she was my newest best friend. Our mothers had teamed up together as Lorraine's father had recently passed away and my own mother seemed to be the best person in the parish to befriend her at the time. Of course all these things would best be known to Lorraine. The strangest part is that my family spent a lot of time in the summers at Jacksons Point and also Peferlaw, visiting with the Allison family. I had a big crush on Wayne Allison and followed him through his football years with the Argos. Would have been nice to have met with Lorraine then. Again my deepest sympathies, and prayers. God bless each of you.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we offer our condolences to Debbie, Richard and their families on the passing of a dear mother and grandma. Sadly we watched as this wonderful lady lost her independence through the dreadful disease, ALS. "Your mom did not complain although we know she suffered tremendously."
During this difficult time we hope you find comfort in knowing others care. May you be enlightened as you recall the many good times you spent together as a family. God Bless you all. George & Mary

Hello, my condolences regarding your Mother's passing. I live in Pefferlaw and was keeping in touch with your mom about Betty Oliver, up until your Mom took ill.
Can you give me any information about Betty? Since she wasn't mentioned, I'm assuming she has also passed away. Her name comes up frequently at Cedarhurst Golf course and members ask about her.
By the way, your father Leo also did some work for us on our house when we bought up here in 1993 and we knew his brother, Lorne for many years too. Take care.

May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Many years ago, our families spent summers at the cottage - Your Mom was very close with my mothers family - Rosemary Hilliard, Diane Scanlan ... Happy memories of both of your parents flood my mind at this time. May your wonderful memories give you comfort, and help you through this time of grief.
God Bless,

My thoughts are with Deb and Andre and Richard and Kim and families.
Lorraine fought ALS with great strength and courage and is now at peace. She watched two sisters Louise and Diane and her brother Herb battle as well with ALS so strongly wishes a cure can be found. Lorraine and I have shared many happy celebrations together over the years with our families and l will miss her dearly.
