Dear Wendy, John, Barry, Terry, Jim and of course your families,
On behalf of my mother Joanne, I wanted to write you all to express our sadness, with the news of your mother's passing. Although I had not seen her ( or all of you) in many years, I have fond memories of the times our families spent together when we were growing up.
I can't help but smile when I think of the 'Blue Fleas', and the amazing and enduring bond that our mothers and their friends have shared since they were teens.
Joanne is currently in a senior's home in our community of Terrace Bay. She is reasonably well although her memory is failing. I know she will be saddened to hear about your loss.

I am so sorry for the passing of Anne. She was a wonderful lady who was always kind and generous to me and the children in my class back when first Terry and then Jim were in my classes at Jersey. I will always remember those fun times in late June at her home.

My fondest memory of Anne was sitting around the kitchen table in the house by the river while drinking tea from the white china cups. The tall teapot sat nearby for refills. She was a very good storyteller, taking the mundane from everyday life and spinning an excellent story. I can still hear her laughter after all these years. It was infectious. She was a beautiful person who won't be forgotten.
