Wayne was a great friend when we were teenagers, a fellow car nut, great mechanic like his Dad and a Refrigeration mechanic like myself. My most sincere condolences to his family and other friends.

Here's to my little brother - goofy, funny, smart, lovable, vulnerable.
We used to finish each other's sentences, laugh 'til our sides ached and didn't get together near often enough.
I'll miss you forever.

We would like to offer our condolences to Wayne's family. Wayne took care of the heating and air conditioning at our house and our rental property in Newmarket for many years. Julie and I were both very sad to hear the news of Wayne's passing. It was always a pleasure to have Wayne out for service calls because he would always have a story to tell and few laughs to share. We will miss him indeed.
Sincerely, Matt and Julie McCarthy

Shawn and Hannah, its heartbreaking to hear of Wayne's passing. I have great memories of Wayne at Christmastime up at the cottage telling us crazy stories laughing. I will always remember that laugh of his and the twinkle in his eye as he told those stories. He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time.
Love Auntie Barb, Uncle Vic, Tyler and Shelby

It brought great sadness to my heart when my son Shawn called me to tell me of Wayne's passing. He was the best steps father ever to Shawn and Hannah. If you knew Wayne we spent most of our married life on the move. If it didn't go fast he was finding was to make it go faster. His love for drag racing snowmobile ' s in the crazy winter weather and fishing with his beautiful bass boat kept us and the kids always on the go. He worked hard at growing the business South Lake Simcoe Mechanical. This venture took us in the beginning straight across Canada looking after the Howard Johnson franchise with the help of Kerr Cooling. We could have never got through some days without the help of Sherry helping with the kids and paperwork. Very early in our venture we were able to sign Ryan up as his apprentice. Ryan worked hard and completed his license and grew on from there and started his own successful business. We spent most of time entertaining in "The Shop" most times to the wee hours of the morning with many laughs watching racing. Over the years to come our lives went in different directions. Wayne's love for his beloved 58 Corvette of doing an off body restoration started to become very real. He made his dream come true and won various awards with his beautiful dream car. He will truly be missed by his family and kids. RIP Wayne AKA Poppa Bear

The news of Wayne's passing has come with a lot of sadness. looking back to our childhood and teen years, he was a great friend. We spend a lot of time together. Wayne was very generous, had a huge heart and compassion for others, Wayne was truly a great person.
When my father passed, I was only 14 years of age, and Wayne always made sure for a long time after, I was part of "the boys" we had a lot of great rides, special times, in all Wayne's special rides.
My deepest condolences go out to Wayne's entire family. May Wayne rest in peace, and God bless all who Wayne choose to surround himself with over the many years of his life...
Enjoy your seat at the big mans table, yours will have a custom view
