CHARLES, James Franklin: In his 88th year, our dad Frank passed in his sleep May 31, 2016 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie after a brief struggle with pneumonia. Dad is predeceased by his wife of 50 years Barbara (Norris) Charles; his parents Howard Charles and Agnes (Ashquabe) Charles and his siblings Jimmy, Harris, Ralph and Olive. Survived by his sons Norris (Tracy), Brian and Paul (Kathy). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and Friday, June 3rd from 10:00 am leading to a service at 11:00 am at Bethel Community Church, 128 St. Vincent Street, Barrie Ontario. Interment to follow at Barrie Union Cemetery at 2:00 pm. We offer our heartfelt thanks to thanks to the staff of Tollendale Village, Roberta Place Long Term Care, Simcoe County Paramedic service and Royal Victoria Hospital Emergency Department in caring for Dad in the twilight of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Roberta Place Long Term Care, Bethel Community Church, or the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County.
