Matt was my close friend and we have know each other for many years. He was a decent, intelligent, caring, helpful person; one of the few exceptional people that I have ever known. I have met some of his friends who have a high opinion of him as well. A friendship like this is hard to come by and only comes rarely in a lifetime. I am honored to have known him, he will be sorely missed.
Our deepest sympathy to all of his family.
Frank and family.

I knew Matt for years as he helped me out with my dogs. He was very good with them and they loved him back. I lost touch with him for a few years when I was in Toronto, but he introduced me to a friend of his which I am grateful. When Matt called to ask if he can use me as a reference, I said of course and it was great to hear from him. He always went out of his way to help wherever he could. Thank you for all you did for me.
I saw him last month with his dad, it was a wonderful visit. It was especially nice to watch their rapport and see them razz each other. Matt was awesome. God Bless.

For many years....
Matt's father was as close as a brother to me.
His mother was as close as a sister to me.
Matthew had no problem calling me "Uncle Bill"...
And I was proud that he gave me that privilege...
and a friendship that I will forever cherish.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We worked with Matt and I sat beside him for a very long time.
Matt had a heart of gold and a frog for every occasion. When we visited his apartment he loved showing them off.
Matt you left us way Too soon, rest in peace.

It is hard to believe that I will not see my friend around town on his bike, or be able to catch up on all the wonderful things he was doing at the boys and girls club. Or watching the excitement on his face when we discussed what new piece he was adding to his model railroad.
He was one of a kind, and Matt and I worked together at the call center, I remember the days when he would done his rain gear or his winter gear and get in the side car on the bike going to and from work in the beginning, or the frog hat, Matt had a frog for everyday.
I pass along my condolences to his family, and Matt you have earned your wings to fly high my friend, until we meet again at the rainbow bridge.
