It is with extreme sadness to have found out 3 years later of the passing of my mentor Rick. He was not just my teacher of road engineering but was always there to give advice whether it was about work or life in general. I will forever remember our fishing trip to Washago where we shared many laughs and lost alot of lures. To Carol and the rest of the family, my sincerest belated condolences. Ricks passion and extensive knowledge of Transportation Engineering will live on. Rick has been a very valuable and trusting client that was always a pleasure to work with. His extensive knowledge and patients working on projects with various clients was always admirable and greatly appreciated.

I know it has been a while since I last spoke or saw Rick. I will always remember the time that I went up to the cottage and we got stuck on the lake in "big blue"... We are all very sad that we will no longer see Rick's smiling face. He was such an important part of our family. We will miss him forever, but he will alwaysr remain in our hearts! We know He, Oma and Opa are having a great reunion. He and Opa are no doubt celebrating with a single malt scotch.

Dearest Carole and your girls.
Rick is no longer in pain, while you miss him dearly. I just saw the announcement on Facebook and felt a jolt.
I am here at home in Grand Cayman and offer up prayers for all three of you and the extended family.
Rick cared deeply for each of you, that I saw and heard first hand from him over my short time in Toronto a few years back. Jackson lit up his face.
