Unfortunately, Lake Simcoe claimed our father at Georgina Island on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the age of 66 years. George Snache Sr., dear father of Kelly Snache, Dave Snache (Karen Downer), Natalie Knockwood (Dennis Waite), Matt Snache, Amber Snache (Natania Snache) and George Snache Jr. (Alana Sabattis). Grandfather of David, Dillon, Dawson, Cheyenne; Joseph; Michael, Libby; Mason and Reign. Husband of Methilda Knockwood-Snache. Fondly remembered by Bonnie Elliott and Arlene Switzer and her children. Dear brother of John Edwards and Helen Shinners, Predeceased by his brother Gerald Edwards and his sister Nancy Snache. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of George's Life will be held in the Georgina Island Community Center on Saturday, February 20th from 2:00 p.m. In remembrance of George, we request that you take the time to remember the true value of family and community and express your love to those around you.
