Suddenly, on Thursday, Aug 27, 2009 at the age of 59 years, while out for his daily jog near his home in Pefferlaw. Derrick Simmons, precious husband of 27 years to Jo Anne. Loving stepfather of Susan Rickard (Mike) of Mississauga and Jim Hogue (Irene Claypool) of Pefferlaw and Grandfather. Cremation has taken place. A Family Memorial Service will be held at a future date. Arrangements in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, 905-722-3274.
