This is sad news. I worked beside Pat at 54 Division working the early cars, when I was a rookie. I appreciated his advice and reassurance. He was a good man, a steady chap and someone you wanted to have on your side.
I lost touch with him when I transferred out of 54 Division, but I remember him well.
Please convey my condolences to his wife and family.
