Obituary of Elizabeth Margaret Rose Lawson

LAWSON, Elizabeth (Peg) Margaret Rose (nee Duder) Peg would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of an offer you can't resist. The offer is an appointment with the Creator, from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with her husband, family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 200 percent. Peg's new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, eating cheese, drinking beer and all the Coronation Street she can manage. Happiness, laughter and love are guaranteed. Chocolate and fudge are delicious and you never gain an ounce. Peg left detailed instructions for her daughter and grandbabies to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. She worked very hard all her life. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her humour and most of all, her thunderous laugh. Predeceased by her husband, love of her life, her best friend and companion Robert (Bob) Shaw Lawson. Leaving behind her dearest and loving daughter Jennifer Marie Mandley. (PFLAG) Gran of Stephen (Charles), David, Matthew (Lindsay) and Cassondra. Her great-grandbabies Katelyn, Brayden, Joshua and little Liam. Finally, her two little four legged life companions, Binki and Gizmo. We didn't want her to go, but knew she couldn't refuse. We invite you to join us and celebrate her life and promotion together. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday at 11:00 a.m. Visitation in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Interment at Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
