Obituary of Viva Florence Lake

Lake, Viva Florence (nee Cryderman) Mom passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the age of 97 years. She was the devoted wife of the late Howard William Lake (2013) for over 76 years. Beloved mother of Mary Jane Lennox (Duncan) of Elmira and the late Donald Howard Lake (1971). Cherished grandmother of James Howard Lake of Toronto and Timothy Hugh Lake, Tiffany Jane Lennox and Kelly Elizabeth Lennox (Rob MacDonald) of Calgary. Proud Nana of Martina, Sarah, Logan, Callum, Lawson and Audrey. Mom was the eldest daughter of the Late Jack and Valeria Cryderman. Loving sister of the late Ina Lyons (late Howard), Ruth Carradona (late Jack), Gloria Hisey (late John) and Lois Gibson (late Don). Mom was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a loving Foster Mother to many children, Nanny to many and choir mother for over 20 years. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton West on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Visitation in the chapel from 1:00 p.m. Interment Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton West. A special thank you to the wonderful family of care givers at the Parkwood Mennonite Home in Waterloo for their love and compassion shown to Mom and Dad during their stay.
