Thank you so much S.E.P. for keeping Jamie alive in your thoughts. He went far too young. It was unfair. My dad talks about him all the time. He was dads youngest son, and dads best friend, he misses him so much. I really think losing Jamie caused mom to lose her will to live. I hope they’ve found peace buried side by side. Thanks too for keeping in touch with dad, so appreciate

Hey bro. We think of you everyday. Mom and dad are still so lost without you. Missing you. Thank you to all who still post and remember Jamie. He had a tough shell, made so by a life time of pain he never spoke of. Many don’t know that since he was born TIL he was five, he constantly was in casts. His legs having to be broken over and over to try and fix. But he still followed his passion. Music. His insides were soft and even thru growls he would help any hurting soul. Because he knew pain. Refused drugs to dull it. He knew where that would lead, and he valued a clear head. S.E.P. he loved you more than any brother. Visit soon. Keep on rocking in heaven Jamissss.

My Condolences to Jaime's family.
To my dear friend and guitar teacher Jaime. Today I was looking around for you hoping to get in touch and i'm really sad to find out you're no longer here.
I personally want to thank you and your dad Leslie for taking me in as your own when I needed a guitar teacher. Whenever I came to your music store, you always greeted me like an older brother and never treated me like a customer. We talked about Iron Maiden for hours during our guitar lessons that time always stood still.
I still have the guitar i bought from your store and it will stay with me as a reminder of my greatest musical teacher.
I miss you brother.

I was shocked when S.E.P. told me about Jamie passing away. I worked with him and his band In Vein, through a mini tour with Paul Di Anno of Iron Maiden. He was a true professional. My heart goes out to his entire family.

I remember meeting Jamie back in the early eighties in the basement of his grandmothers house while I was visiting Gary. Over the years I had the pleasure of becoming friends with Jamie as our paths crossed in the world of music . Even recently we had reconnected through facebook and he was trying to help me with a recording dilemma. I wish to express my condolences to Jamie's family and many friends. Your untimely passing has devastated me and has left a hole in my heart. We were more than just best friends, I considered you my brother and still do. Les and Sheila (your parents), Lesley (sister) and Kaitlin (niece) are like family to me and that's not going to change. I remember my first year attending university. It was a scary time. A place far from home, far from family. Just to make things more nerve racking, I had a roommate in my dorm. I walked into my room and there he was. A big guy, long hair and heavy metal posters here and there. I was the very opposite of this person. At least in appearance. We connected on some level. He had this calming side to him. I still remember him playing his 12 string guitar one night. He was on his back in bed and the room was dark. I would name songs and he would play them. His talent was amazing. I loved the respect he had for his Mom and Dad and Grandmother that lived at home. I even met them on a Thanksgiving weekend (he didn't like the idea that I couldn't be with my family that weekend). He taught me how to play songs on the guitar over the course of the school year. We walked together to the cafeteria for suppers and had late night chats. My first year at Trent University was a great experience thanks to my roommate that turned out to be a really great guy. We were not roommates the 2nd year, but we were buddies in the same dorm. I am really saddened at his passing. I wish we would have taken the time to see each other again after all these years. At least I had the chance to tell him via Facebook a couple of years ago how much I appreciated him. Rest in peace Jamie and my sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
