I have just learned of Pat's death, and am sorry to learn that her grace and intellect no longer are present in the world.
We worked together for several years at George Brown College, first on committees that amalgamated Toronto schools of nursing into the college system, and later in the Staff Development and International Development Department. I was a great admirer of Pat's organizational skills, her quick grasp of dynamics of situations, her unstinting generosity in our work together.
We shared several experiences, even adventures, in Jamaica and in Indonesia. I remember Pat fondly and am thankful that she was my colleague and friend.
