Peacefully at River Glen Haven Nursing Home, Sutton, on Friday, June 12, 2015 in his 93rd year. Gord Montgomery, beloved husband of the late Myrtle (nee Wray). Dear father of Ronald Montgomery and Darlene Greenwood. Grandfather of Candace and Dustin and great grandfather of Christian, Praiser, Thomas, Gracen, Sadie, and Austin. Predeceased by his long-time companion Patricia Howard. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Gord's life will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, June 19, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. A Veteran's Service, conducted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 356 Sutton, will be held at the interment of cremated remains in Briar Hill Cemetery, Friday at 2:30. Memorial donations to the Parkinson Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
