Born November 26, 1930 in Hardwicke, NB, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, ON at the age of 84 years. John Mills of Pefferlaw, beloved husband of the late Audrey (nee Flett). Loving Father of Doug and his wife Patricia, Susan and her husband Carlos, Jerry, Karen and her husband David; and Steve and his wife Anna-Lee. Loving grandfather of Kim, Doug, Michael (Emma), Melissa (Sean), Jason (Emma), Tyler, Jamie (Jenn), Jessica (Lionel), Lauren (Chris) and Ryan, and great grandfather of RJ, Kristen, Kayla, Katie, Madeleine, Jake, Matthew, Ben, Lucas, Owen, Ella, Jake, Dylan, Jack, Grace, James, Jack and Raymond. John was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hockey, baseball and golf. He thrived while in the company of his family at his home on the shores of Lake Simcoe. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday and 12 noon till 3:00 p.m. Saturday. A celebration of John's life will be held in the chapel Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Spring interment Hardwicke Cemetery, NB.
