Peacefully at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, Uxbridge on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in his 94th year. Gordon Ambrose beloved husband of Mavis Rose Powell. Loving father of Carole Ambrose, Mary Ambrose, and John Ambrose (Irene). Predeceased by his sons Peter and Robert Ambrose. Step father of Stephen Bland (Dale Simmons-Bland), and Matthew Bland (Brenda Bodnar). Predeceased by his step daughters Heather and Elizabeth Bland. Dear grandfather of Haydon. Step grandfather of Christopher, Mark and Morgan. Funeral service in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road,Sutton Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation one hour prior. Interment Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton.
