Obituary of Charles Lorenzo Big Canoe

Big Canoe, Charles Lorenzo (Bud) Peacefully at his home on Georgina Island, Lake Simcoe, on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at the age of 78 years, Bud passed to join with his beloved Joan Simcoe. Bud Big Canoe, beloved father of Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux, Mike Big Canoe, Becky Big Canoe, Ellie Big Canoe, Deanna Big Canoe and Trish Big Canoe all of Georgina Island. Loving grandfather and great grandfather. Dear brother of Wanda Big Canoe, Andrew Big Canoe and his wife Janet, Albert Big Canoe and his wife Ann and Lorraine Big Canoe. Lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends. Resting in his home from 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2009 until Tuesday morning when the funeral service will be held in the Georgina Island Community Centre, Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment of cremated remains in Georgina Island Cemetery at a later date.
