Rosalie and kids--lifting you in prayer for strength to get through this sad time. One of my fondest memories of Bud was the year he dressed as a bare-midriff cheerleader for Halloween. It makes me smile EVERYTIME I picture him walking down the street.
Blessed be-all of you.
Fondly,
Diana

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bud's passing. I've thought of him recently as I have started back at stained glass and have the best work table ever made by Bud's students at Centre Hastings. The money paid was used to have a year end party for the kids. Bud taught so may kids a trade that they could use for the rest of their lives. I was always very fond of him and his happy and positive outlook and, of course, have always been fond of you , Rosalie and Tom and Lori who I knew better than the rest of the family. He was so fit and' by his picture, he sure didn't age. I really want you and the family to know I am thinking of you and feel very sorry. As ever, Betty Pyear

I was shocked to hear of Bud's passing and would like to tell Rosalie & family that I am thinking of them at this sad time. I first met Bud a few years ago while cycling along Lake Drive. We would stop & chat once in awhile about cycling & the places where he's been eg.Ireland with his grandson;spending winters in Florida. Most times,we just waved & said "Hi". This past year, I thought it was strange that I hadn't seen him cycling but put it down to different times of the day When I finally saw him in late summer, he stopped to tell me that he'd been ill with leukemia but was in remission. It was quite a shock to hear this from such a fit & healthy-looking man. I shared my news about having had surgery for cancer in January. He seemed so positive that all would be well. The next couple of times, we waved but never had another chance to talk again. I often meet nice & interesting people while out cycling and will remember Bud as being one of these. I will miss his waves & chats.

I believe his family all are proud of the courage and strength he showed even in dealing with this illness right til the end.
