ivy,
I am so saddened by Grants passing.
It has been far to long old friend.
My most vivid memory, and one I hold dear, is of Grant and I travelling the back concession roads in your big white Van and him saying Corinne just look a little further....he meant look just past where you would normally look and you will be surprised what you will see.....he was right, a whole new world opened up to me, and I have passed that wisdom on to many other people and always tell that story.
Ivy you to are a warm and loving person...I just wish there was some way to make this easier for you....please know you are in my thoughts...BIG BIG HUGS AND LOVE TO YOU
keep in touch all my love Corinne

I will always have fond memories of Grant. Every trip to the house included a few great stories, some laughs, and some insightful information on one subject or another. I found he had a great zest for life, and I would feel a sense of optimism/positivity after seeing him. There are only a handful of individuals who leave that impression on people - he was one of them. His demeanour was a great example of an ethic we should all strive for; the fact that life is a gift, and we should always try to enjoy the journey. Like I'm sure many have said, I wish I could have seen him one last time (or more) before he passed. I was not aware of his illness. With any luck, he'll know how many hearts he has touched, including my own.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Grant's passing. I was so privileged as a young girl to have the two kindest, hippest, coolest, AMAZING people as neighbours. The two of you were the epitome of "happily ever after" anyone that has had the honor of knowing you would agree. Be good to yourself, embrace your beautiful family, draw strength from all of us that are sending love to you. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers.
Lots of love,
Patti

We were so saddened to hear of Grant's passing. He will remain in our hearts and you in our thoughts. From sailing, to custom signs, to that amazing smile and always cheerful disposition - for over 30+ years I can always remember such a wonderful man who never spoke bad about anyone. His love of life, of Ivy Lynne and of the pets were his mainstay. Keep strong and keep the beautiful memories close. You have much love surrounding you

I first met Grant over 20 years ago when I needed signs for my business. I could always count on him to make whatever I needed and always with a contagious smile. Over the last few decades we shared stories of being self employed in a small town and always agreed it was the people and the community that made the struggles worth it. Thanks Grant, you will be missed.

Ivy, our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Grant has been a part of our lives for so long - from the 'early days' when we used to wander over and ask him for hints about how to improve our windsurfing. We used to love watching him sail and I seem to recall him out there once on a very blustery Christmas morning.
Somehow conversations with Grant about one thing always lead to another - a conversation about building a new sign could somehow end up with an hour talking about some other much more interesting and important topic. We will miss him very much.
Thinking of you,
Hugh and Sheila
