I am very sorry to read of the passing of Marg. I am a 50 year member of St. George's Golf Club. My father, Ernie, was a founding member and my mother, Mildred was a member for 45 years. We all knew Marg and Lou. I was a young caddie and would often witness Lou walk off the course at 7:00 a.m. before heading to the Toronto Food Terminal. A very big man, I always wondered how he could walk the course. He always said "hello" to me. Marg was also very pleasant and always kind to me. Widowed for many years, she would often play golf by herself pushing her golf cart at what seemed a torrid pace as she hurried around the course. They are people I have never forgotten because they were kind, friendly and decent. Would they remember me? Not likely but they would know my parents. The lesson is every moment matters. How you treat everyone matters. Your parents and grandparents made a beautiful impression that never waivered on me at the age of 10 or 11. God bless all of you.
