Obituary of Franklin Thomas Hoare

Hoare, Franklin Thomas Peacefully at River Glen Haven Nursing Home, Sutton, on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Frank Hoare of Willowdale formerly of St. Catharine's, beloved husband of Florence (nee Stubbert). Dear father of Laurence and his wife Susan of Sutton. Predeceased by his daughter Catherine. Loving grandfather of Krysta. Dear brother of Margaret Unruh and her husband Ron of Stouffville. Lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends. Frank was a veteran of WWII, serving in the RCAF as a pilot. After the war he graduated from the University of Toronto in commerce and finance, articled with McDonald, Currie and Co. with whom he obtained his Chartered Accountant Degree in 1951. Frank was a member of the Summit Golf and Country Club, Oakridges, and Victoria Hall, U of T. Funeral Service in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton , Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to service. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains, Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharine's. Memorial donations to the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation, 7170 Warden Ave. Unit 2, Markham, ON L3R 8B2 would be appreciated by the family.
