Obituary of Al Scott

Please share a memory of Al to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
George Allan (Al) E. Scott December 29, 1942 - June 12, 2014 In loving memory of the strongest man we have ever known. Al surpassed all predictions and valiantly fought until the very end when he passed at his home on Lake Simcoe. Most cherished husband for 52 years of Judith (nee Earl), treasured father of Allan (Madge) of Kingston and Lesli Ann (Larry) of Toronto, devoted grandfather of Adam, Jessica and Jeff. Al lived his life for his family and fought to stay with them as long as possible. After successfully serving as Ryerson Press' youngest President, Al struck out on his own, founding AES Company - a successful Toronto advertising agency. Special thanks to Dr. Zibdawi, Dr. Baguio, and their teams; his CCAC/SRI nurses Sheila and Marilyn who worked wonders to ensure that he could remain at home. A tribute to our wonderful husband, father and grandfather would be a donation made to Southlake Regional Stronach Cancer Centre or any women's shelter. A "Remembering Al" gathering will take place at 595 Duclos Point Road, Pefferlaw on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. Memories will be shared at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements, in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, (905) 722-3274. Memorial condolences may be made at www.forrestandtaylor.com "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality"
