Obituary of Patricia Ann Porte

Porte, Patricia Ann ( nee LeSage) Passed away peacefully on January 2nd, 2014 at her home on Georgina Island. Daughter of Frank B. LeSage and Eliza Jane LeSage (nee Souliere). Beloved sister of Edna and Rene Parizeau of Blind River, Sonny and Rita LeSage of Kamloops BC, Eileen and Gary Irvine of Sault Ste. Marie, Bertrand LeSage of Sault Ste. Marie, Eugene and Bonnie LeSage of Sault Ste. Marie, Ron and Lucinda LeSage of Kanata, predeceased by sisters Roberta and Francis. Sadly missed by her children; Maureen Lewis of Toronto, Michael Lewis and Minipreet Bhatia of Toronto, Arnold Lewis of Toronto, Wayne Lewis and Kathy Taylor of Kawartha Lakes, Daniel Shaule of Toronto, Janey Porte of Toronto. Also fondly remembered by her step-children Donna Hart and Andre Feltham, Jackie Hart, Angela O'Malley, Thomas Summers and Scott Lightfoot. Loved and missed by her grandchildren, Jamie Lewis and Jeanette Mercer, Robert Forrester, Shawna Taylor-Lewis and Ben Ellis, Joseph Taylor-Lewis, Ocean Lewis and Pamela Hart. She also will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Pat was a strong Ojibway woman that honored family, community and to a deeper meaning of life. Patricia had the ability to light up a room, just with her presences. She will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held in the Georgina Island Community Centre, Georgina Island on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 1pm.Visitation in the community centre from 12 noon.
