I didn't know Marie, but I passed by the accident on my way to Keswick High school, just minutes after it happened before the emergency vehicles arrived,. The image stayed with me all day hoping the person in the car was alright. The next day, I learned it was Murray's aunt who was in that car. Her death hit me hard. It reminded me how important it is to enjoy the moments of today because we never know how fast it can be taken away. Murray told me at school that his aunt is in heaven now and she is an angel watching over him. I think so too. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Marie was my neighbour and friend for many years at the cottages and we had many great times at the campfire on the weekends with Matthew (Matty) and Robert and his daughters. Marie was happy, with lots of interesting stories to tell, she was vibrant, funny, and kind. I admired her very much. She loved her nephews so very much, she spoke lovingly about them all the time. My thoughts really are with all of you during this most difficult time. Her passing is a tremendous loss for all the family and all her friends.
