I can’t believe that 7 years have past since you left us. I miss our talks, making your tea and the junk food we shared together.
We miss you terribly.
God bless
Your son in law

Laurie, Crystal, Mike and Family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I really enjoyed meeting Shirley at last year's big wedding and I admired her commitment to participating in life! I looked at her challenges and felt mine were insignificant in comparison. She defied the word "can't"! Shirley definitely had a love for life and she certainly had a lot of love to give you all. May you find comfort in the loving memories I know you'll treasure always. Thinking of you and sending hugs your way...

Laurie, Crystal, Mike and family What can I say. Life has been a long wild ride with your mom here. I know people say things will get easier. I am sure they will but, it will take awhile. Just remember all the good times. Hopefully we will all make some new memories while cherishing the old ones. Let's keep the party going in honor of Shirley. I know that right now she is the life of the party. Lots of love Gidge. Cody & Paul xoxo

Dear Laurie and Family
I feel so sad for you. I know how much you loved and cared for your Momma! I have thought back and remembered so many things in the last couple days! All the sleepovers at your place...card games...the bogeyman creeping around outside...lots of stuff...including me and your Mom waking you and whoever else was sleeping over with pots and pans and wooden spoons...bong bong bong!!!!!!!! I used to dye that hair and pluck her eyebrows! and II just couldn't believe that any grown woman could have feet THAT small!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so sorry Laurie..I cannot imagine how your heart feels right now. I'm sure that God has your Momma wrapped up in his warm blanket of love. Now she will watch you from heaven....Iwhere she will continue to be so very proud of you and your family and all that you do to make life better for others. You were her earth angel and now she is with Gods angels.
Thinking of you, with Love, Doexoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Just read the notice of your Mum's passing. Have often thought of her and remember the cups of tea when she lived on Davis Dr. She was very fortunate to have a family such as yours to support her and care so much for her. I will miss her and do wish you and your family comfort at this time. Will be in touch

Dear Laurie and Family,
We are so sad to hear of your dear Mom's passing! When we first came to River Glen Haven to sing and share the Gospel with the residence, your Mom was one of the first to come to the lounge to hear us. We looked forward to seeing Shirley and made certain to visit everytime we were in up until we moved away. It was wonderful to see you and Shirley just this past summer down at Queensville. May the Lord strengthen you during this difficult time.
God bless, The McIntosh Family (John 3:15-17)
