Obituary of Mary Kaptyn

Kaptyn, Mary It is with heavy heart that our family announces the peaceful passing of Mary Kaptyn, in her 81st year, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, on Friday, May 31st, 2013. She will be deeply missed by her son Henry, wife Cathy and her grandchildren, Samantha, Alex and Robert. Mary was a generous, hardworking and thoughtful woman. She was an avid gardener and accomplished folk artist. She taught and adored children, especially each and every one of her grandchildren. She was an active and long-term member of the Duclos Point Association. She will also be missed by her two sisters in Canada, Joanne and Ellie, her three brothers and two sisters in Holland and her sister in Spain. Friends and family are invited to Celebrate her Life at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 28118 Highway 48,Virginia, Ontario on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation in the church from 1:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains, St. Anthony's Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army Sutton Youth Center would be appreciated.
