I saw the notice for the passing of Kirk Winder in The Star, and wanted to leave my condolences for his family. Since I don't see anything here about Kirk, I am just hoping this notice is passed on.
I went to high school with Kirk. He was a very sweet young man. I remember him as handsome and kind. He was a little shy, living with burns to his body. It must have been so hard for a teenager. I myself quit school at DMCI and lost touch.
I am sorry to hear that he was living in Halsey Lodge, though I don't know why he was there. It just seems like Kirk may have had a difficult life, and that makes me sad because he was so nice.
Please accept my sympathy for his loss.
