Dear Mrs. Peake and Family,
I have many fond memories of Mr. Peake. He was like a second father to me at the Don Jail when I started out. He was my Sergeant and mentor and led us through some tough spots. If he liked you, he ran you hard and kept you on his platoon to prepare you. As I am now a Sergeant, I find that I have taken some his method and guidance with me as I progress through my senior years.
Though he came across as a hard shell for the job as he needed, we also knew the compassionate man underneath as well; and more than often it showed through. I admired and liked the man very much, often asked of him through our peers and wished he could have been with us longer.
God's Blessings and Prayers to you and your family Joe.
