I was so sorry to hear of the events on Friday. My heart is heavy for you. Loss is something I am well aquanted with. I wrote this poem for a friend a few years back, but it is quite fitting here too. I am a firm believer that when we leave this physical world there one so much better on the other side. I will keep you all in my prayers that you can grieve and heal from this tragic loss.

God's Plan
Sometimes God has a plan
That we don't understand.
He takes the ones that we love
This time he took a man.
This man was someone's father
This man was someone's son
This man was someone's brother
This man was someone's friend.
Sometimes when we are here on earth
We have troubles we can't explain.
And sometimes there is not amount of help
That will alleviate our pain.
I cry for the ones left behind,
For the heartache that they feel.
And the regrets that, they may have
Will hopefully one day heal.
God has a better plan in mind,
For this cherished man he took.
Ours is not to understand ,
For He has the master plan.
