Peacefully at Riverside Glen Village, Guelph, on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in her 88th year. Ruth Birkett (nee Sisco), beloved wife of the late Gordon Birkett. Loving mother of Margaret and her husband Dave Glandfield of Guelph and Thomas and his wife Mary Birkett of Pefferlaw. Much loved " Gram" of Katie Romanko, Beth (Ryan) Moisan, Gordon (Sarah) Birkett and Timothy Birkett. Great grandmother of Mateo Moisan. A Memorial Service will be held in St Andrew's College Chapel, 15800 Yonge Street, Aurora, on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to thank Dr. Kotalik and the staff of Riverside Glen for the care and compassion shown to Ruth.
