Suddenly as the result of a heart attack at her home in Jackson's Point, on Monday, March 19, 2012, at the age of 53 years. Marianne Jones-Shearer(nee McGovern), beloved wife of Robert Shearer and the late Danny Jones. Dear mother of Tanyalea, Holly (Oneil) and Adam (Kristin). Loving grandmother of Shaughnessy, Danny, Maile, Ava and Annalee. Beloved daughter of Maxwell and Susan McGovern. Sister of Frank McGovern (Morina) and the late David McGovern. Sister-in-law of Ethel Knispel. Marianne will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday March 23, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
