Obituary of Glen Allen Riddell
Please share a memory of Glen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Glen peacefully at River Glen Haven on Sunday, February 5, 2012. He is now reunited with the ones he has loved and lost, whom he never stopped missing. My father was a very friendly, caring person with a great sense of humour, and a big generous heart. He loved to help people. Both my parents instilled in us what was important in this life. Their total joy was their family. My father was a family man first and everything else was secondary. We'll miss his wisdom and warmth and his love of nature, stray cats, birds, rescue dogs, and taking his long walks. But all good things must come to and end. Any trial or tribulation life dealt him his reply would always be "Just another bump in the road." These are the memories we'll cherish. He is survived by his daughter Mildred Burrows (Norm), granddaughters Amber and Julie and his brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his wife Muriel and son John. A Private Service, was held and interment at Briar Hill Cemetery, Sutton West. A very sincere thank you to the staff and volunteers at River Glen Haven for their kindness, compassion, and support.
Memorial Donations requested by the family to the Ontario SPCA or the Georgina Animal shelter would be appreciated by the family.
I have come to the end of the road. My journey is complete, So long.
