Peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Pearl Johnston (nee Battaglia) of Sutton, beloved mother of Laura Marie Johnston of Sutton and Paul Johnston of Woodbridge. Loving Nana of Devin and Jillian Johnston. Dear sister of Tony Battaglia, and Josephine Nero (Amore) all of Toronto. Sister in law of Mike Cutrara (Clare), Hope Johnston-Pearce (Floyd) and May Johnston. Predeceased by her sister Mary Cutrara. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 20916 Dalton Road, Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains, St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery, Virginia, ON. Memorial donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
