Wheler, Doris Maud Peacefully at The Waterford, Oakville, on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Doris Wheler (nee Cronsberry) of Virginia, ON beloved wife of the late John Earl Wheler. Dear mother of Lois Wheler Roots and her husband James of Burlington and Thomas Wheler of Toronto. Mother in law of Carole Dekairelle Wheler of Oshawa. Predeceased by her son John Gerald Wheler. Loving grandmother of Melissa (Franklin), Daniel, Matthew, Emily (Dan) and Michael. Dear sister of Howard Cronsberry and sister in law of Joyce Spence. Predeceased by her siblings; George Cronsberry, Vera Timmins, Helen Macdonald, twin sister Dora Dunk and Lorna Cronsberry. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, and especially Brenda Timmins. Funeral Service in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Friday, February 25, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
