Peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the age of 63 years while surrounded by his family and friends. John Dingwell, loving husband and friend of Angela (nee Gottlieb) of Sutton. Loving Poppie of Jen and Laura and "Mr D" to Andrew Rivers and Alex Krievins. Beloved son of Phyllis and the late Angus "Jim" Dingwell. Brother of Ben Dingwell, Jean Ann Mitchell (the late Alan), Dixie Harkness (Ron) and Mary Lynn Dingwell (Peter Gerow) and brother in law of Stephen Gottlieb (Jane). Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Monday at 3:00 p.m. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial Donations to CAMH Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, 901 King Street West, Suite 502, P.O. Box 20, Toronto, M5V 3H would be appreciated by the family.
