Suddenly at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Don York of Georgina Island, beloved son of the late Samuel and Mabel York. Dear brother of Shirley Lenhardt of Brighton, and Francis Taylor of Georgina Island. Predeceased by Jim, Bernice, Agnes, Dorothy, Rose and Kathleen (Kay). Loving uncle of Brenda, Liz, Jim, Annette, Ron, Dan, Tom, Mike, Sandra, Randy, Lynn, Carol, Leonard, Terry and Tina. Lovingly remembered by his great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Fondly known as Uncle Don to many residents of Georgina Island. Resting at the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010. Funeral Service in the Georgina Island Community Centre, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Inurnment, Georgina Island, Cemetery.
